Note:

There are some who think that barbering has gone the way of the dinosours. However, time has changed and a taper haircut is back. Today in California there are more jobs for Barbers than there are Barbers. The Barber Colleges report an increase in the number of "cross-over" students [cosmotologist who want to learn barbering skills] besides an enrollment of new students. Last year there were 900 new barbers licensed in the State of California whereas there were over 32,000 new cosmotologist.

Who make up our Barbers? We are are diverse group for sure. Barbers are still mainly made up of males and we have been lucky enough to have more women come into the profession.
